The season differentiated itself by coming with two talents from Nepal who advanced all the way to the Grand Finale. Notably, the Wild Ripper Crew set a record by the acquisition of the Double Plus for 8 consecutive times. Tanay Maehara who emerged the winner was equally famous as Piyush Bhagat. Team Dharmesh (Wild Ripper) was the 1st runner-up and Team Shakti (Piyush Bhagat) coming up as the 2nd runner up. 3rd runner up was a position for team Shakti (Sushant Khatri).
Remo D’Souza’s Dance Plus 2 came to an end with a sparkling grand finale, that saw Olympics medalist Sakshi Malik and Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor gracing the event. The winner, a 14-year-old teen genius made an impression on everyone with his appealingly flexible dance moves from the very first instant of the show. He was chosen through the votes of the show viewers when the final four contestants were put to the measure during the two hours in which telephone lines were open for vote calls.
The contestants who stole the heart of people were Wild Ripper Crew. This crew they had come to compete in a foreign country, without having met their parents for 2 years. They, in any case, emerged 2nd best in the reality show. With their Hip hop and B-boying style, the Wild Ripper crew did a splendid performance. The group got surprised after being complimented by the judges when their mothers showed up on the stage to give them Double Plus. This strongly emotional kind of family reunion had everyone in tears. Wild Ripper got most double plus from the Super Judge Remo D’Souza, but at final, the winner was put up as Tanay by the people’s votes. The teen, who performs in the contemporary style, impressed the show viewers more than all the other competitors with his great performance. The winner who had stunned everyone with his performances during the DID Li’l Masters Season 2 by Zee TV Live left not a single spectator unimpressed with his all power-packed performance.
